As you can see, Denmark is mostly cloudy. This weather was not usual for me until I started to live here. Coming from a Mediterranean country (moreover from the West!), I sometimes miss the sunshine. I think I will get used to it in time.
These days, I fully feel the autumn; fallen leaves, mizzling rain, circulating warm wind around, and Halloween time coming soon... Nature is yawning and completing the last preparations to sleep. Denmark is a super silent country, let's say ''peaceful'' -if you can feel it this way-. I guess it will be more silent in wintertime. People will spend their time at home with their families. Sounds pretty. :) Maybe one day, I will be able to do so in Denmark too. Who knows?.. It is a totally cosy portrait for me. Come to mention cosy, I would like to talk about ''hygge''. It is the most popular habit in Denmark culture. Danes love it, love it, love it!!! Actually, me too! I have always loved this idea, just not knowing any specific word to express it. Hygge means spending time with your friends or/and family, drinking something which makes you warm - I always prefer coffee, it makes me feel grateful -, eating what you like, feeling comfortable and sitting pleased in a cosy place with candles, blanket, and twinkling lights and whatever you want to add to this atmosphere. I am sure some images have come to your mind.
P.S. I cannot share any photos of the hygge theme for the moment. Most probably, I will be able to upload these kinds of photos after I move into my new h❤me in two weeks. I am willing to create this concept there because it is the best way to spend winter in a warm atmosphere. :)

Such a surprise, I can drink lukewarm black coffee without grumbling... I feel like an adult. Isn't it a sign of maturity?! :P I am just kidding, but at the same time, every joke includes a bit of reality. My friend Deniz had once said in our university years, people having a hard life drink bitter coffee. Well, what is your answer from your experience? By the way, in Denmark, we always drink classic coffee, mostly filtered coffee (milk preference depends on your taste). Third-wave coffee traditions and other kinds of coffee types are not common or popular here. I find this in a sense humble, on the other hand, I love cappuccino a lot, so I'm not super glad about that...

Interesting... This note is from a very shiny day in October! Naturally, we all felt lucky. This photo is from the front of my new house. Today, I painted my room's walls. It was the first time I tried to paint. Ehe. Like other firsts, it was first a bit hard, then turned to an enjoyable thing - but also could be related to my mood -. Before this picture, I went shopping by my bicycle. I felt free. I felt the wind! I like living this way. I am thinking of having a tattoo from free-spirited woman myths. Women Who Run with the Wolves encourages me. Such a holy book... my reference book ever! These days, life is getting be a bit complicated, but I think it's normal. Denmark is not heaven after all... Anyway, I love the lifestyle here, that's pretty enough to feel good for me. Vi ses!

P.S. Today was one of the days I enjoyed drinking cappuccino.

''All this, coloured and in a thousand different forms, had always been there. The sun and moon had always shone; the rivers had always flowed and the bees had hummed, but in previous times all this had been nothing to Siddhartha but a fleeting and illusive veil before his eyes, regarded with distrust, condemned to be disregarded and ostracized from the thoughts, because it was not reality, because reality lay on the other side of the visible. But now his eyes lingered on this side; he saw and recognized the visible and he sought his place in this world. He did not seek reality; his goal was not on any other side. The world was beautiful when looked at in this way -without any seeking, so simple, so childlike.'' -Hermann Hesse/Siddhartha p.37.

P.S. Even though I say I am a mature person, I am a child at heart - and will stay so forever and ever -.

P.P.S. Many thanks to Melek Teacher for the edit.
