My first week in Denmark is almost finished, and I am so happy to be here. I am (contrary to the song) 1,676 miles away from home. I keep this sentence in my mind, it sounds special to me: ''Home is where you make it''. Totally true!.. In my opinion, starting to create a life from scratch is something more powerful and important for one's personal development. In the following sections, I am going to tell you why I think like this. In the book, which I am currently reading, Women Who Run With the Wolves, the writer tells about the feeling of belonging somewhere in the sixth chapter and she gives an advice about a necessity: Try to explore new places to feel that you belonged there. That's why I am here... To feel free, resilient and contented. Actually, all I want is self-discovery and self-fulfillment.

Another day... While it's raining, I am currently sitting on my bed and thinking about life. Huh, sounds so classic to someone?! How could life be so different based on the country and family you've grown up, life conditions, opportunities, people you've met who have loved and hurt you, childhood experiences and the other experiences?... There are too many things I can't recount now or don't know -yet- ∞... Life is vast... Life is so impressive. I deeply admire being able to create my story in different ways and switch it to another unknown direction while moving across. My friend Thale once said that: ''Amazing what we can do with our lives! Anything is possible. Especially love.''. It had made me feel courageous, and it still stirs the same feeling in me. With patience.. and resilience we should just keep going to create our own story, against all challenges. That's all about the life.
I want to close this part with Aunt Şencan's compliment: ''You will also be one of the women who has a story.''... I sincerely do hope. I've always been eager to do that.
P.S. I made this handiwork (with love) to carry wherever I make my home. 💗

Today was a bit busy. When arrived my ''home'' in the afternoon, I made coffee, got a slice of cake and went to the Art Room which is another part of the school. While I was preparing the coffee, I realized there was a note on the coffee box: ''The world needs more flowers.'' I totally agree with this idea. I wish the world was just full of beauty, but sadly, there is no such world. I've found a solution for this by creating a small world (small circle, inner world) for myself. My evening activity can be an example for it: Knitting :). And coincidently, I found a flower design in the book. Then I contributed a flower to the world!
P.S. My name, Gökçe, is a kind of flower (soft blue) which probably does not exist anymore... This is also an another coincidence. :)

P.P.S. Many thanks to Melek Teacher for the edit. Her name, Melek, means ''angel'' in Turkish. This is not a coincidence, because she is. :)
