Who am I? 

As a blogger, I wanted to briefly introduce myself here. I am Gökçe. I was born in Aydin, a very close city to Izmir, Turkiye. I love Izmir. 🌴 I spent my five youth years there. Izmir made me an absolute different person and helped me shape myself, a priceless experience in human life. I've met wonderful people close to me in both places.

I have recently completed my Master's degree in Developmental Psychology at Bilkent University. With the help of what I have learned, I aspire to contribute to children's lives and in particular those living in disadvantaged conditions. 

I believe in love. I do love my loved ones. This makes my life more fulfilling in many possible ways. When it comes to love, I'd like to say, "love's the greatest thing." These are lyrics from a song played in a movie that shook me a bit emotionally; it was touching, Aftersun :). 

I like to drink whiskey (without ice cubes if the wheather is not extremely hot 🥵) and red wine. I do love dance; Lindy Hop it is. I enjoy taking looong walks and running that help me to clear my mind. I like electro & techno music; it is also pretty helpful to trance while studying. My probable favourite band is The Blaze, and I personally feel very close to Lana Del Rey and Leonard Cohen's songs (dangerous 🔥). The fav book is Great Expectations by Charles Dickens; its reason is deep. I should add Zorba the Greek. That was awesome and completely changed my perspective on life. I am grateful I read it in my early 20s. Movie.. not sure... tho my taste perfectly fits with Almodovar's movies. Count me as a loyal fan of independent films in general. I am, indeed, a cinephile 📽 and a part of a cinesisters group in Munich (such a chance to find a thing to be part of it).

I love to roam (had a tattoo for this very reason:)), travel as a backpacker and explore new cities. Listening to music is irreplaceable for me. I have good taste in music, btw :)). Sounds childish to say such a thing tho, hehe. I like to read, write, talk, and listen to people in my close circle. I feel young, blue, energetic, invincible, vulnerable and experience all other human emotions from time to time. Even though I like to be around people, I might call myself a mild introvert. That's all about how we refill our batteries; sources may change depending on the period we go through. Just try to make it as stable as possible as an adult (strong word!)…

Finally, my closest purpose is finishing Sans Soleil (done:)). And doing my best in my PhD at TUM (in progress)✌. This is all so far; on an unregular basis, I update here.
